Aug 1, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Saturday, that 491 new cases of corona disease (Covid-19) were registered during the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases registered in the country to 67,448, while 6 deaths were recorded as a result. Illness, bringing the total death toll to date to 453.
Ministry spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that were found to have been in contact with cases confirmed to be infected and others under investigation to find the source of infection and examine those in contact with it.
Al-Sanad said that the previous 491 cases included 358 cases of Kuwaiti citizens, at a rate of 72.91 percent and 133 cases for non-Kuwaitis, 27.09 percent.
He stated that the injuries were distributed according to health districts, with 177 cases in Al-Ahmadi Health Zone, 98 cases in Al-Jahra Health Zone, 80 cases in Hawalli Health District, 73 cases in Al-Farwaniyah Health Zone, and 63 cases in the Capital Health District.
And that the number of those receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 134, bringing the total of all cases that were confirmed to have Covid-19 disease and still receiving the necessary medical care 8,470 cases.
(Aug 1, Kuwait News,) He pointed out that the number of smears that have been carried out during the past 24 hours reached 2432, with a total of 507,520 examinations.
Sindh renewed the call of citizens and residents to continue to take all means of prevention and avoid contact with others and to ensure the application of the physical separation strategy, recommending a visit to the official accounts of the Ministry of Health and the official authorities in the country to review the instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to contain the spread of the virus.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 593 cases have been recovered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases of (Covid-19) cure to 58525 cases. (End)

Kuwait News, Aug 1, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Saturday, that 593 cases of coronary disease (Covid 19) had been cured during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovering from the disease in the State of Kuwait to 58525 cases.
The Ministry said in A statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that these cases were confirmed to be recovering after conducting the necessary medical examinations and the steps taken in this regard.
