Aug 12, Kuwait news, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Wednesday, the registration of 717 new cases of the new Corona disease (Covid 19) during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 73,785 cases, while 3 deaths were recorded as a result of being infected. With the disease, bringing the total number of deaths registered to date to 489.
The official spokesperson for the ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that were confirmed to have been infected were cases of contact with confirmed cases and others under investigation for the source of infection and examining those in contact with them.
And Al-Sanad explained that the previous 717 cases of infection included 470 cases of Kuwaiti citizens, at a rate of 65.55 percent, and 247 cases for non-Kuwaitis, a rate of 34.45 percent.
He stated that the injuries were distributed according to health regions, with 187 cases in the Ahmadi health district and 154 cases in the region. Al-Farwaniyah health care district, 154 cases in Hawally Health District, 122 cases in Al-Jahra Health District, and 100 cases in the Capital Health District.
He indicated that the number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments reached 117 cases, bringing the total The total number of all cases that have been confirmed to have the disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care 7845 cases.
He pointed out that the number of swabs that were performed during the past 24 hours reached 4397, bringing the total of the checks to 543858.

Aug 12, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Wednesday, that 692 cases have recovered from (Covid-19) disease in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of people recovering from the disease in the State of Kuwait to 65,451 cases.
