Aug 13, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Thursday, that 701 new cases of the new Corona disease (Covid-19) were recorded in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 74,486 cases, while no death was recorded. To stabilize the total number of deaths recorded to date at 489 cases.
The spokesperson for the ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that have been confirmed are contacts with confirmed cases and others under investigation for the source of infection and examining those in contact with them Al-Sanad clarified that the previous 701 cases included 500 cases of Kuwaiti citizens, at a rate of 71.33 percent, and 201 cases for non-Kuwaitis, a rate of 28.67 percent.
He stated that the injuries were distributed according to health districts, with 209 cases in Ahmadi Health Zone and 172 in Al-Jahra Health Center And 127 in Farwaniya Health Center, 99 in Hawally Health, and 94 in the Health Capital.
He indicated that the number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments has reached 118 cases, making this the total of all cases that have been confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still T receives the necessary medical care 7898 cases.
He pointed out that the number of swabs that were performed during the past 24 hours amounted to 4147, bringing the total to 54,8005 examinations.
The bond renewed the call for citizens and residents to continue adopting all means of prevention and avoid contact with others And to ensure the implementation of the physical distancing strategy, recommending to visit the official accounts of the Ministry of Health and the official authorities in the country to view the instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to containing the spread of the virus.

Aug 13, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Thursday, that 648 cases have recovered from (Covid-19) disease in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of people recovering from the disease in the State of Kuwait to 66099 cases.
The ministry said in A statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that it has been confirmed that these cases are similar to recovery after conducting the necessary medical examinations and the steps taken in this regard. (End)
