Aug 19, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Wednesday, that 675 new cases of the new Corona disease (Covid-19) were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 78,145 cases, while two deaths were recorded to become The total number of deaths registered to date is 507.
The Ministry’s spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that had been confirmed were contacts with confirmed cases, and others under investigation for the source of infection and examining those in contact with them.
He stated that the injuries were distributed according to the health regions, with 188 cases in the Ahmadi health district, 148 cases in the Farwaniya health area, 115 cases in the Jahra health district, 114 cases in the capital health district, and 110 cases in the Hawally health district.
He indicated that the number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments decreased to 96 cases, as the number of cases yesterday was 101, indicating that the total number of all cases that were confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care 7867 cases.
He pointed out that the number of swabs that were performed during the past 24 hours amounted to 4,811, bringing the total to 573,251 tests.
Al-Sanad renewed the call for citizens and residents to continue adopting all preventive means, avoid mixing with others, and be keen on implementing the strategy of physical distancing, recommending to visit the official accounts of the Ministry of Health and official authorities in the country to view the instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to containing the spread of the virus.

Aug 19, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Wednesday, the recovery of 528 cases of (Covid-19) disease during the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of people recovering from the disease in the State of Kuwait to 69,771.
