Aug 2, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Sunday, the registration of 463 new cases of emerging corona disease (Covid 19) during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 67,911 cases, while 4 deaths were recorded as a result Of the disease, bringing the total number of deaths recorded to date to 457.
The spokesperson for the ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that were found to be in contact with cases confirmed to be infected and others under search for the source of infection and examination of those in contact with it Al-Sind explained that the previous 463 cases included 319 cases of Kuwaiti citizens, 86.9 percent and 144 cases of non-Kuwaitis, 31.1 percent.
He reported that the distribution of injuries according to health regions came by 144 in the Ahmadi health region and 85 in the Jahra area Health Department, 82 in Al Farwaniyah Health District, 80 in the Capital Health District, and 72 in Hawalli Health District.
On the latest developments in the Intensive Care Departments, he pointed out that the number of those receiving medical care inside them reached 129 cases, bringing the total to all 8241 cases were confirmed to be infected and are still receiving the necessary medical care.
He indicated that the number of swabs that were carried out during the past 24 hours reached 2041 to reach a total of 509,561 checks.
He renewed the call of citizens and residents to continue to take all means of prevention and avoid Mixing with others and ensuring the implementation of the physical separation strategy, recommending a visit to the official accounts of the Ministry of Health and the official authorities in the country to review the instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to contain the spread of the virus.

Kuwait News, Aug 2, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Sunday, the recovery of 688 cases of new corona disease (Covid 19) during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovering from the disease in the State of Kuwait to 59,213 cases.
