Aug 21, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – Today, Friday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced that 502 new cases of the new Corona disease (Covid-19) were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 79,269, while 2 deaths were recorded afterwards. They contracted the disease, bringing the total number of deaths registered to date to 511.
The spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that had been confirmed were contacts with confirmed cases and others under investigation for the source of infection and examining those in contact with them.
He stated that the injuries were distributed according to the health regions, with 119 cases in the Ahmadi health district, 104 cases in the Al-Jahra health area, 101 cases in the Farwaniya health area, 100 cases in the Hawally Health District, and 78 cases in the Capital Health District.
He indicated that the number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments reached 95 cases, bringing the total number of all cases that were confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care 7494 cases.
He pointed out that the number of swabs that were performed during the past 24 hours reached 3530, bringing the total to 581118 tests.
Al-Sanad renewed the call for citizens and residents to persist in adopting all preventive measures, avoiding contact with others, and keen to implement the strategy of physical distancing, recommending to visit the official accounts of the Ministry of Health and official authorities in the country to view the instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to containing the spread of the virus.

Aug 21, Kuwait News, (KUNA)- The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Friday, the recovery of 622 injuries from the emerging corona disease (Covid-19) in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of people recovering from the disease in the State of Kuwait to 71264.
The ministry said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that it was confirmed that these cases are similar to recovery after conducting the necessary medical examinations and the steps taken in this regard. (End)
