Aug 26, Kuwait News, (KUNA The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Wednesday, that 698 new cases of the new Corona disease (Covid-19) were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 82,271 cases, while two deaths were recorded to become The total number of deaths registered to date is 521.
The Ministry’s spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that had been confirmed were contacts with confirmed cases, and others under investigation for the source of infection and examining those in contact with them.
He stated that the injuries were distributed according to the health regions, with 208 cases in the Ahmadi health district, 154 cases in the Al-Farawaniyah health area, 126 cases in the Jahra health area, 107 cases in the Hawally Health District, and 103 cases in the Al-Asimah Health District.
He indicated that the number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 92, making this the total number of all cases that were confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care 7,844 cases.
He pointed out that the number of swabs that were performed during the past 24 hours reached 4364, bringing the total to 599413 examinations.
Al-Sanad renewed the call for citizens and residents to continue adopting all preventive means, avoid contact with others, and be keen on implementing the strategy of physical distancing, recommending to visit the official accounts of the Ministry of Health and official authorities in the country to view the instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to containing the spread of the virus.

Aug 26, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Wednesday, that 504 injuries from (Covid-19) disease have cured in the last twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of people recovering from the disease in the State of Kuwait to 73906.
The ministry said in a statement to agency Kuwait News (KUNA) confirmed that these cases are similar to recovery after conducting the necessary medical examinations and the steps followed in this regard. (End)
