Aug 3, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Monday, the registration of 388 new cases of the newly created Corona virus (Covid-19) during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 68,299 cases, while 4 deaths were recorded as a result. She fell ill, bringing the total deaths recorded to date to 461.
Ministry spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that were found to have been in contact with cases confirmed to be infected and others under investigation to find the source of infection and examine those in contact with it.
(Aug 3, Kuwait News,) Al-Sanad said that the previous 388 cases included 282 cases of Kuwaiti citizens, at a rate of 72.68 percent, and 106 cases for non-Kuwaitis, 27.32 percent.
As for the distribution of injuries according to health districts, he explained that they came by 113 in Al-Ahmadi health area, 86 in Al-Farwaniya health area, 83 in Al-Jahra health area, 63 in Al-Asimah health region and 43 in Hawali health area.
And about the latest developments in the intensive care departments, he pointed out that the number of those receiving medical care inside them reached 126 cases, indicating that the total number of all cases that have been confirmed with Covid-19 disease and still receiving the necessary medical care reached 8099 cases.
(Aug 3, Kuwait News,) On the institutional quarantine centers, the total number of people who have ended the mandatory institutional quarantine period during the past 24 hours reached 17 people after performing all preventive measures and ensuring that all samples are free of the virus, and that they complete a period of not less than 14 days in the mandatory domestic quarantine as of the date Leave the institutional stone center.
And that the number of smears that were performed during the past 24 hours reached 2038 smears, for a total of 511599 examinations.
He renewed the call of citizens and residents to continue to take all means of prevention and avoid contact with others and ensure the application of the physical spacing strategy, recommending a visit to the official accounts of the Ministry of Health and the official authorities in the country to review the instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to contain the spread of the virus.

KUWAIT, Aug 3 (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Monday, that 526 cases of coronary disease (Covid 19) had been cured during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovering from the disease in the State of Kuwait to 59,739 cases.
The Ministry said in A statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that it was confirmed that these cases are similar to recovery after conducting the necessary medical examinations and the steps taken in this regard. (End)
