Aug 31, Kuwait News, ( KUNA ) — The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Monday, that 473 new cases of the new Corona disease (Covid-19) were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 85,109 cases, while one death was recorded. Following her infection, the total number of deaths registered to date is 531.
The Ministry’s spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that had been confirmed were contacts with confirmed cases, and others under investigation for the source of infection and examining those in contact with them.
He stated that the injuries were distributed according to the health regions, with 124 cases in the Ahmadi Health District, 111 cases in the Farwaniya Health District, 90 cases in the Al-Jahra Health District, 75 cases in the Capital Health District, and 73 cases in the Hawally Health District.
He indicated that the number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments reached 91 cases, bringing the total number of all cases that were confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care 7354 cases.
He pointed out that the number of swabs that were performed during the past 24 hours amounted to 3490, bringing the total to 617,619 tests.
Al-Sanad renewed the call for citizens and residents to continue adopting all preventive means, avoid mixing with others, and be keen on implementing the strategy of physical distancing, recommending to visit the official accounts of the Ministry of Health and official authorities in the country to view the instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to containing the spread of the virus.

Aug 31, Kuwait News, ( KUNA ) — The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Monday, that 574 cases have recovered from (Covid-19) disease in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of people recovering from the disease in the State of Kuwait to 77,224.
The ministry said in a statement To Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), it has been confirmed that these cases are similar to recovery after conducting the necessary medical examinations and the steps followed in this regard. (End)
