Aug 4, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Tuesday, that 475 new cases of coronary disease (Covid-19) were registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recorded in the country to 68,774 cases, while 4 deaths were recorded. The official spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that were proven to be in contact with cases confirmed to be infected and others under search for the source of infection and examination Those with contact with it.
Al-Sind explained that the previous 475 cases of infection included 323 cases of Kuwaiti citizens, 68% and 152 cases of non-Kuwaitis, 32%. He mentioned that injuries according to health districts were distributed by 139 cases in the Ahmadi Health Zone and 106 Cases in Al Farwaniyah Health Zone, 101 cases in Al Jahra Health Zone, 67 cases in Hawally Health District and 63 cases in the Capital Health District.
And that the number of those receiving medical care in intensive care departments reached 131 cases, bringing the total to all 7983 cases were confirmed to be infected with (Covid-19) and are still receiving the necessary medical care.
He pointed out that the total number of persons who ended the period of mandatory institutional quarantine during the past 24 hours reached 17 persons after performing all preventive measures and ensuring that all samples are free Of the virus, provided that they complete a period of no less than 14 days in the compulsory home quarantine, as of the date of leaving the institutional quarantine center.
