Corona (covid-19) recoveries in Kuwait surge by 73 to 1,776
KUWAIT, May 3 (KUNA) — Kuwait’s Health Minister Dr. Basel Al-Sabah announced that 73 coronavirus (Covid-19) patients have recovered, bringing the overall to 1,776.
“Fresh lab tests proved that those persons have recovered,” the minister told KUNA on Sunday.
“Therefore, they have been cleared by doctors to move to the rehabilitation ward of the hospital,” Sheikh Dr. Basel said, adding that the former patients have to spend a couple of days in rehabilitation before being discharged.

Kuwait corona virus cases up by 364 to 4,983
KUWAIT, May 3 (KUNA) — Kuwait has registered 364 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 4,983, the health ministry said on Sunday.
Virus-related deaths rose by five to 38 in total, spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad said in the daily press briefing on the pandemic.
The fatalities include a resident from Pakistan, 61, who had been receiving urgent treatment for 18 days at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an India, 63, who had been under intensive care for 10 days.
Also, from Bangladesh, 46, who had been at the ICU for 18 days, Jordan, 54, who had been at the ICU for two days and India, 43, who was admitted into the ICU 12 days ago.
