July 13, KUWAIT NEWS, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Monday, that 614 new cases of coronary disease (Covid 19) were registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 55,508 cases, while 3 deaths were recorded as a result. Fell ill, bringing the total number of deaths recorded to date to 393.
Ministry spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous injuries that were found to be in contact with cases of confirmed cases and others under search for the source of infection and examination of those in contact with it.
Al-Sind said that the 614 cases included 378 cases of Kuwaiti citizens, 61.65 percent, and 236 cases of non-Kuwaitis, 38.44 percent.
He added that the injured according to the health areas came with (171 cases in Al-Ahmadi health area), (145 cases in Al-Jahra health area), (134 cases in Al-Farwaniyah health area), (95 cases in Hawali health area) and (69 cases in Al-Asimah health region).
On the highest residential areas in terms of recording the infection with the virus, it was mentioned that it came in (26 cases in the Jaber Ali area), (26 in the Al-Ayoun area), (26 in the noon area), (25 in the Jleeb Al-Shuyukh area) and (22 in the Farwaniya area) and (22 in the oasis region)
And about the latest developments in intensive care, he pointed out that the number of those receiving medical care in intensive care reached 148 cases, bringing the total of all cases that were confirmed to have disease (Covid 19) and still receiving the necessary medical care 9759 cases.
Al-Sindh indicated that the number of smears that were carried out during the past 24 hours reached 4086, indicating that the total number of checks reached 437422.
He said that the total of those who ended the period of compulsory institutional quarantine during the past 24 hours reached 86 people after performing all preventive measures and making sure that all samples are free of the virus, provided that they complete a period of no less than 14 days in the compulsory home quarantine as of the date of leaving the institutional quarantine center
