July 18, KUWAIT News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Saturday, that 683 new cases of corona disease (Covid-19) were recorded in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 58904 cases, while three cases were recorded. Death due to illness, bringing the total number of deaths recorded to date 407.
Ministry spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that were found to have been in contact with cases confirmed to be infected and others under investigation to find the source of infection and examine those in contact with it.
July 18, KUWAIT News, Al-Sind said that the previous 683 cases included 430 cases of Kuwaiti citizens, at a rate of 62.96 percent and 253 for non-Kuwaitis, at 37.04 percent.
With regard to the distribution of injuries according to health districts, he explained that they came by 162 in Al-Ahmadi health district, 159 in Al-Farwaniyah health area, 151 in Al-Jahra health area, 113 in Hawali health area and 98 in the health capital area.
And on the latest developments in the intensive care departments, he pointed out that the number of those receiving medical care inside them reached 137 cases, bringing the total of all cases that were confirmed to have Coffid-19 disease and still receiving the necessary medical care 9,477 cases.
Regarding institutional quarantine centers, a total of six people have ended the period of mandatory institutional quarantine during the past 24 hours after performing all preventive measures and ensuring that all samples are free of the virus, and that they complete a period of no less than 14 days in mandatory domestic quarantine, starting from the date of leaving the center Institutional stone.
Al-Sindh indicated that the number of smears that were carried out during the past 24 hours reached 4370, bringing the total number of examinations to 457340.
He renewed the call of citizens and residents to continue to take all means of prevention and avoid contact with others and to ensure the application of the physical separation strategy, recommending a visit to the official accounts of the Ministry of Health and the official authorities in the state to review the instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to contain the spread of the virus.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced earlier today, that 639 injuries were cured during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cured cases (Covid-19) to 49020 cases.

July 18, Kuwait news MoH: 639 recoveries from COVID-19 in Kuwait, tally at 49,020
KUWAIT, July 18 (KUNA) — Some 639 people recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 49,020, Kuwaiti Ministry of Health said on Saturday.
The ministry added, in a statement to KUNA, that the new number was based on clinical tests, which proved that the patients were now virus-free.
