July 6, KUWAIT NEWS, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Monday, that 703 new infections had been registered with the new corona disease (Covid 19) during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 50,644, while 5 deaths were recorded as a result of the disease. For a total of 373 deaths recorded to date.
Ministry spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that were found to have been in contact with cases confirmed to be infected and others under investigation to find the source of infection and examine those in contact with it.
July 6, Al-Sanad said that the previous 703 cases included 463 cases of Kuwaiti citizens, 65.66 percent of them, and 240 cases of non-Kuwaitis, 34.14 percent.
He added that the injured according to health districts came by (209 in Al-Ahmadi health area), (180 in Al-Jahra health area), (131 in Al-Farwaniyah health area), (115 in Hawalli health area) and (68 in Al-Asimah health region).
On the highest residential areas in terms of recording infection with the virus, he stated that it came in (40 in Saad Al-Abdullah), (32 in Jaber Al-Ali), (24 in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh), (24 in Sabah Al-Salem), (24 in the Oasis) and (23 in Salmiya) )
Regarding the latest developments in intensive care, he pointed out that the number of those receiving medical care in intensive care has reached 152 cases, bringing the total of all cases proven to have disease (Covid 19) and still receiving the necessary medical care 9270 cases.
On the institutional quarantine centers, the total number of those who ended the mandatory institutional quarantine period during the past 24 hours reached 139 people after performing all preventive measures and making sure that all samples are free of the virus, and that they complete a period of not less than 14 days in the mandatory domestic quarantine starting from the date of departure Institutional Stone Center.
Al-Sanad indicated that the number of smears that were performed during the past 24 hours amounted to 3351 smears, indicating that the total number of checks reached 409335.
He renewed the call of citizens and residents to continue to take all means of prevention and avoid contact with others and to ensure the application of the physical separation strategy, recommending a visit to the official accounts of the Ministry of Health and the official authorities in the state to review the instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to contain the spread of the virus.
July 6, The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health had announced earlier today that 538 cases of (Covid 19) had been cured in the past 24 hours, bringing the total cases of cure in the disease in the State of Kuwait to 41001. (end)

July 6, Kuwait news, MoH: 538 recoveries from COVID-19 in Kuwait, tally at 41,001
July 6, KUWAIT NEWS, (KUNA) — Some 538 people recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number to 41,001, Ministry of Health said on Sunday.
The ministry added, in a statement to KUNA, that the new number was based on clinical tests, which proved that the patients were now virus-free. (end)
