June 5, KUWAIT (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Health Ministry on Friday reported 723 new coronavirus infections, bringing the tally to 30,644, while deaths reached 244 after recording 8 cases.
In a statement to KUNA, the ministry’s spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that the new cases related to people who were in close contact to previous patients.

Kuwait: 1,054 new recoveries from coronavirus
June 5, KUWAIT (KUNA) — The Ministry of Health declared on Friday recovery of 1,054 coronavirus patients bringing total number of recuperated persons to 18,277.
The ministry said in a statement that laboratory tests and analyses confirmed that these cases were cured of the virus-caused ailment.
The recovery cases will be shifted to rehabilitation ward of the hospital specialized for hosting coronavirus cases, pending their discharge in two days.
