Oct 20, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Tuesday, that 886 new cases of the new Corona virus (Covid-19) were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 117718, while 4 deaths were recorded to become The total number of deaths registered to date is 714.
The official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments has reached 133 cases, thus becoming the total number of all cases that have been confirmed. With (Covid-19) disease and is still receiving the necessary medical care, 7806 cases.
And Al-Sanad indicated that the number of swabs that were performed during the past 24 hours reached 7935, bringing the total to 842102 examinations.
He renewed the call for citizens and residents to continue adopting all Ways of prevention, avoiding contact with others, and ensuring the implementation of the physical distancing strategy, recommending to visit the official accounts of the Ministry of Health and the official authorities in the country to view instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to containing the spread of the virus.
The Ministry of Health announced earlier in the day that 592 injuries had recovered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 109,198. (End)
