Sep 3, Kuwait News, (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Thursday, the registration of 900 new cases of the new Corona disease (Covid-19) in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 87,378 cases, while one death was recorded. Following her infection, the total number of deaths recorded until today is 536.
The Ministry’s spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the previous cases that had been confirmed were contacts with confirmed cases and others under investigation for the source of infection and examining those in contact with them.
Al-Sanad stated that the injuries were distributed according to the health regions, with 229 cases in the Hawally Health District, 201 in Farwaniya Health Center, 178 in the Health Capital, 175 in Ahmadi Health District, and 117 in Al-Jahra Health Center.
He indicated that the number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 93 cases, making the total of all cases that were confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care 8,051 cases.
He pointed out that the number of swabs that were performed in the past twenty-four hours amounted to 5441, bringing the total to 631482 tests.
He renewed the call for citizens and residents to continue adopting all means of prevention, avoid contact with others, and be keen on implementing the strategy of physical distancing, recommending to visit the official accounts of the Ministry of Health and official authorities in the country to view the instructions and recommendations and everything that would contribute to containing the spread of the virus.

Sep 3, Kuwait News, (KUNA) — Kuwait’s Ministry of Health said Thursday 582 people recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 78,791.
The ministry added, in a statement to KUNA, the new number was based on clinical tests, which proved that the patients were now virus-free. (end)
